Easter – Paschal Triduum (Holy Thursday to Easter Sunday)
The date of Easter Sunday changes each year and ranges between 22 March and 25 April. The three main parts of the Paschal Triduum (Paschal Three Days) are Holy Thursday evening’s Mass of the Lord’s Supper, then Good Friday afternoon’s commemoration of the Passion of the Lord, and Holy Saturday night’s Paschal Vigil and Mass is the beginning of Easter Sunday.
Please note, in the Christian liturgical calendar Easter Saturday is NOT the one before Easter Sunday; it is the one following. The day before Easter Sunday is Holy Saturday; no weddings or baptisms are celebrated on this day.

Weddings on the Easter weekend
Weddings are prohibited on Good Friday and Holy Saturday. While they may take place on Easter Sunday, the priests and deacons may not be available due to liturgical obligations across the region. Please do not makes plans for a wedding on Easter Sunday without a priest or deacon first agreeing to be available.
