The Google Calendar link works in Google Calendar with a gmail account; click the link, and add it to your Calendars. This is the most versatile way because you can see many calendars together.
The public URL link works in any internet browser, but you can view only one calendar at a time. Click the link to the calendar you want, and bookmark it for future use.
